ADFLOW FILTER AID

ADFLOW Filter Aids are natural composites derived from plant based constituents. It is processed by blending natural plant materials with high technology thermal reaction and controlled particle separation to obtain its core feed stock which is used in Dewatering, Filtration, Sequestration of unwanted and hazardous waste in food and non food Industrial applications. It is also used in the treatment and rehabilitation of COD / BOD levels in waste treatment plants. ADFLOW high bulk density can provide substantial cost savings from use of less filter material and lower disposal cost compared to other Filter Aids.

ADFLOW FINE Grade has been proven to be highly effective in areas of Dewatering and Filtration of fine particles and heavy metals resulting in it being used extensively in manufacturing plants. Like DIATOMACEOUS EARTH (DE) and PERLITE, ADFLOW FINE improves filtration processes because of its inherent stability and strength due to its unique structure. Unlike DE, ADFLOW natural composites may provide better filtration and flow stream due to its cracked spherulite shape resulting in faster filtration cycles. ADFLOW FINE GRADE being organic in nature also results in more environmentally friendly disposal compare with Perlite which is inorganic.

ADFLOW Standard Grade are designed for use in end stage treatment of waste water and sludge to rehabilitate COD and BOD levels where it has been proven to return very good recovery compared with Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC).

Another major advantage is that filter cakes from ADFLOW can be converted to COMPOST due to its organic property and provides for easy, safe handling and storing.

By using proper process ADFLOW Filter Aid may be used to generate filter cakes that pass the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Test (TCLP) as set by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA).
